Ganpat University with Toronto Business Development Centre (Canada)

Canada-based Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) and Ganpat University have inked an agreement to promote and support Indian startups to grow globally. TBDC is a non-profit Business Incubator established in 1990 by the City of Toronto supported by the federal government of Ontario, Canada

This arrangement will open a gateway to the North American market for Indian startups. This agreement between Ganpat University Incubation Centre (GUNI-IC) and Toronto Business Development Centre will promote Canada's startup visa program which allows startups to have a soft landing in the international market. It is worthwhile to note that Ganpat University Incubation Centre is promoting startup Innovation and entrepreneurship in the state and the country by offering the benefits of MSME, Industry Commissionerate startup and innovation policy, Student Startup and Innovation Policy, and Startup India Policy. Recently the Government of India, Ministry of Education has given the band “Excellent” to Ganpat University for promoting innovation in the Institution.

Ganpat University will support startups in hand holding for due diligence and Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) startup visa and soft landing program. It will also open an opportunity for bringing internationally acclaimed mentors for startups and venture funds. The qualified company will get six-month incubation support from TBDC and Ganpat University Incubation Centre. This will also open an opportunity for access to international mentoring events for startups.

During the MoU signing Honourable President of Ganpat University Dr. Ganpatbhai Patel, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Mahendra Sharma, ProVC and Executive Registrar Dr. Amit Patel, Dean Student Startup & Incubation Centre Dr. Saurabh Dave, Executive Dean Dr. Rajen Purohit, Dr. Satyen Parikh, Ms. Sumedha Manda, Mr. Vimalkumar Paradava, Mr. Akshay Patel, Prof Remi Mitra from Ganpat University and Mr. Vikram Khurana Board Chairman TBDC and Ms. Neha Jain Director Asia Pacific TBDC were present.

While exchanging this MoU, Shri Ganpat Patel thanked the PM of India Shri Narendra Modi for his continuous efforts, for putting India on a global map, and for transforming India into a world leader in many ways. This is a great result of PM Modi’s sound world diplomacy. He further said that we are proud of our PM and we shall extend all our best support to realize his great vision for our country to become great.

Honorable Pro-Chancellor Ganpat University Dr. Mahendra Sharma has added that Ganpat University and its Centre of Excellence will open an opportunity for Canadian startups to grow in India. Our policies are more inclusive and support the cross-border collaboration and promotions of startups and innovation. We at Ganpat University Incubation Centre have experience in piloting and promoting early-stage foreign startups in the country.
